Berto Espinosa

Berto Espinosa grew up native to the Northwest Indiana “Region” area, holding a drawing pencil in one hand, and a skateboard in the other. Bertos passion for art as a child shifted into the desire of tattoo culture in the early 2000s from seeing the first episode of Miami Ink air on television. After many sharpie tattoos on himself and friends, Bertos first set of machines landed in his hands at 15 years old. “What mom doesn’t know, won’t hurt her!” Years later, after professional apprenticeships and experience tattooing along world class artists, Berto cultivated a strong and versatile tattoo portfolio specializing in black & grey. Nowadays, Berto can be found tattooing at B.A Tattoo in Cedar Lake Indiana or lost somewhere at a skatepark with his wife and daughters.
